Carlo, non è in discussione l'esperimento. La foto però è una simulazione assai approssimativa e la "scritta" non ha significato.

Si infatti hai perfettamente ragione, si tratta di un fotomontaggio.
Nelle scorse serate ho cercato di vedere la ISS al suo passaggio sopra Caserta per individuare i cubesat con un binocolo 12x50. Ebbene risultato totalmente negativo. Allora ho cercato qualche informazione in rete e, se ricordo bene, nel sito di Visualsat (http://www.satflare.com) ho trovato delle informazioni che dicevano che ancora i led dei cubetti non sono in funzione.
Ho pertanto contattato via mail il Prof. Tanaka chiedendogli le informazioni sui satelliti, e lui mi ha risposto:

"We now start the experiments of high speed transmission of pictures using 5.8GHz. After we received the whole pictures at the deployment, we will start flashing LEDs. Probably it will start around the middle of November.

The orbit of FITSAT-1 is almost the same as ISS, but now it goes ahead 10,000km from ISS. This means it appears the same point of ISS before 10 minutes. It depends on the observation day.

I will make the plan for flashing and announce it FITSAT-1 web-page.
As the weather of observation point is important.
Please advice me the season of flashing over Capua.

Star magnitude will be 5 to 7.
I think small binoculars will be useful."

Pertanto, verso metà novembre si dovrebbe cominciare a vedere qualcosa, il punto è la loro individuazione, secondo me non sarà facile. Vedremo.
