I also reconsidered my first idea of framing the picture with M13 in the center: the image is now encompassing the prominent features of this area of the sky, and is still - to my opinion - well balanced from the standpoint of photographic composition.
There's a number of tiny galaxies (like PGC2074909, 14.5 mag) which are clearly visible... if you know where to search!
